1. When did Kenmold setup? How many people work for Kenmold?
Kenmold has over 14 years history in mold making and injection molding. In 1994, we established our own factories. Currently there are about 120 staff, including 38 designers, engineers and managers working in 2 invested factories in Ninghai, Ningbo.

2. What is the main market of kenmold? How many molds kenmold tooled in 2008? Is there any other business related?
North American and European market are the main target area of Kenmold. There are 500 sets of mold exported in 2009, with output value of 4.5 million. Except for mold tooling, Kenmold also produces plastic injection parts, does post treatment (painting, metalizing, heating etc) and assembling.

3. Does Kenmold have any ISO certificates?
Yes, we are ISO 9001 certified (2000).

4. Does Kenmold can help me to develop the new, innovative product?
Yes, a total solution service is also the unique advantage of Kenmold. This service including mold making, molding, assembling, and new product development., which means design, prototype, engineers, sampling and small quantity production.

7. Where are Kenmold located? Where shall I fly to?

8. Many foreign companies such as America and Europe companies that have had tools and parts made in China have had bad experiences??What is the main reasons and how to solve them?
The first problem encountered is the Communication. In fact, few of Chinese engineers and technicians can communicate freely with people in English , while many sales staff don’t have any technical background at all. It could be a serious problem if the part drawing or technical data can’t be understood clearly by mold factories in China.

First of all, some of our employees are native English speakers from America . And the staff in kenmold are proficient in English and mold knowledge besides their years of experience in mold export.

Secondly, there is a self-checking system in the project management, to make sure there are no mistakes from one period to next period. For example, all quotations and mold drawings will be verified by at least 3 independent engineers or a meeting.

Thirdly, Kenmold sales team keeps close communication with customers day and night, by the way of SKYPE, MSN, EMAILS, video phones and cell phones.

9. There remain serious quality concerns with Chinese tools and parts among many toolmakers??What about the quality of the products by Kenmold?
This is true, we believe the most difficult thing for oversea customers is to choose right suppliers in China. So, what makes Kenmold different is:
1) Kenmold has her own quality standards.
2) ISO 9001 certified.
3) SPC data verification.
4) moldlife guaranteed for one year or within the mold life.

6) Technical know-how is also very important. Take the cooling water in injection molding for an example. Many Chinese factories make cooling system by single circuit, but they don’t realize that would not be sufficient in most cases, due to short cycle time.

10. We would like to have off shore sourcing at Kenmold, China??but the physical distance makes our delivery easily out of control. How could we make sure that we can receive the molds/products from China in time?
There is a online tracking system for you to track your projects on the internet. Also you will be advised the shipment arrangement (by sea, air or Express way) in time. Kenmold has reliable shipping agents who are professional in dealing with all problems. We can also provide Door to Door service.

11. Why some of our products quoted/made in Kenmold are more expensive than other Chinese factories?
Many factors could cause the different quotation. Generally it depends on the understanding of manufactures about tool standards and the way of making tools. Some Chinese factories quote very low prices to attract new customers, but often, they fail to provide quality molds, in time delivery and have no after sales service at all.

Kenmold has her own mold standard and warrantee service anyway. This greatly helps many small or other mold manufacturers get trouble-less molds or products. Compared with USA-made tool, kenmold save cost of 30%-70%( 50% on an average) in molding making.
